We’d love you to visit our pond. Here’s how to find us.
Biddenham village is situated to the west of Bedford (United Kingdom), off the A4280. Leaving that road at a roundabout and coming into the village via Deep Spinney, then taking the first right turn into Gold Lane, you will find the footpath to the pond on your right, between 3 and 5 Gold Lane (MK40 4AN). Look out for the brown signposts and our own colourful sign in the form of a fish with a kingfisher perched on top.
Leaving the A4280 and coming into the village via Biddenham Turn, continuing into Main Road and then Gold Lane, past the village green and village sign, the entrance to the footpath will be on your left.
You can ‘click’ on the plan to enlarge it.
The footpath to the pond is the old Coffin Path that leads from the village green to the parish church, St James. You can walk to the pond from both ends of the Coffin Path – from off Gold Lane and from behind the church at the end of Church End (MK40 4AS), look out for the brown signposts. To get to the church follow the sign to it from the village green and head down Church End.
