Becoming a Friend

Why not become a Friend of the Biddenham Village Pond: you’ll be most welcome.

For a small annual subscription of £5 (or more if you wish) per household, you’ll receive two newsletters each year with information about events and activities. The Autumn newsletter includes a review of activities during the year.

And most importantly through your subscriptions you’ll be helping to fund the preservation, conservation and management of one of Biddenham’s treasures, the village pond and its flora and fauna for the present and future generations.

There is a membership application form you can complete and send to our treasurer at the address on the form.

Please also consider signing up to pay future subscriptions by standing order, which means you don’t have to worry about forms and cheques or cash each year. It all happens automatically! And it helps the Friends pond management team too with a greater degree of certainty about income for meeting the costs of regular conservation and maintenance work at the pond and special projects.

You can keep in touch through this web site – you can contact us or leave comments where you see a comment box (like the one below),  and you can also receive automatic alerts about new posts by pressing the ‘+Follow’ button in the bottom right hand corner of your screen, entering your email address and signing up. You’ll then receive an email asking you to confirm that you wish to follow. Once confirmed, you’ll receive emails automatically about our new posts.

Also look out for our articles in ‘The Loop’ and notices about forthcoming events on the village notice boards.

Thank you.
