Sunday meander

The violets are out today down by the pond, there’s a small patch of snowdrops just coming to an end, and the moles have been pretty busy.

The recent rain has added some water to the pond, albeit it’s still no where as full as we would like, and we’ll have to keep an eye on the azolla slowly gathering on the surface.

Next Saturday morning, 4 March, all being well we’ll taking out some more reeds to hinder their encroachment across the pond, and it’s back on Saturday, 1 April, for our Spring work morning.
