The water level in the pond is lower than we would like at this time of year and more water would be welcome. It’s ironic therefore that, after some weeks without rain, the rain we need should choose to come today, our Autumn work morning!
But not downhearted nor deterred, our six loyal volunteers rolled up their sleeves, metaphorically, and worked hard through it all. They did a splendid job tidying the site for the Winter, well done and thank you all.
Thank you as well to the Manor Hospital for again providing refreshments for the workers which, as you can see, were most welcome.
Next Saturday happily we’ll be in the dry for the concert with ‘Heart and Music’, the last anniversary event of the year.
