November cometh

October is drawing to a close, the year is whizzing by, but the good news is there are two pond events in November!

Featuring ‘Heart and Music’, with musical director Malcolm Crane, our joint concert with the Friends of St James, is on Saturday, 19 November at 7.30 pm in the Church, with 30th anniversary nibbles, cake and fizz after in the Church Barn. Music and song from swing to gospel, show tunes to original compositions, to tickle your fancy maybe some amusing poetry, and you might even find you can sing along.

This is the last event in our programme of special events to mark the 30th anniversary of the pond restoration project, and we hope you can join us for a fun and enjoyable evening; we have a few tickets left, £10 but only £7 for Friends, from Jane Knight (01234 330173).

And to get you in the mood, why not take a little gentle exercise in the ‘green gym’ at our Autumn work morning at the pond on Saturday, 12 November from 10.00 am to lunchtime. Hope to see you then to tidy things up for the Winter.
