Not stumped

A trial removal of stumps by the dog leg behind the western hedge on Sunday afternoon, 2 March, proved a great success, thanks particularly to the unbounded energy and enthusiasm of Will Jenkin, son Tom, and David Wilkinson.

The trial quickly moved to a full scale attack and a substantial number of stumps were removed. One more session, maybe two, will hopefully see the remaining stumps gone for good and the area opened up and, once settled, ready to support new life.
